  • Chris Bosh says Heat “big three” sparked Kevin Durant's move to Warriors

Chris Bosh could have continued what he was doing, being the face of the Toronto Raptors. He had made the All-Star team five years in a row, was the focal point of the Toronto offense on the court and the team's marketing off it, and he was getting his touches, averaging 24 points a game his last season north of the border. Yet he chose to leave, to head all the way down to Miami to team up with Dwyane Wade and LeBron James.

  • Siakam has 33 and 13 as Raptors hold off Thunder in OT

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- ?? Forced to play overtime after blowing a 20-point second-half lead, the Toronto Raptors found their groove again in the extra period. Pascal Siakam had 33 points and 13 rebounds, Fred VanVleet added 23 points and six assists and the Raptors won the first of two games in three days against Oklahoma City, outscoring the Thunder 13-4 in OT to pull out a 123-114 win Wednesday night. Atlantic Division-leading Toronto snapped a four-game losing streak against Oklahoma City despite the absence of starting guard Kyle Lowry, who sat out with a sprained right ankle sustained Monday in a win over the New York Knicks.

  • Knicks riding rare high ahead of trip to Toronto

The New York Knicks scored a dramatic 124-123 win over LeBron James and the visiting Los Angeles Lakers on Sunday, which shows that there can be highlights even in the most dismal of seasons. The Knicks, who have the worst record in the league at 14-56, will try to improve on that rare success Monday night when they visit the Toronto Raptors, the NBA's second-best team at 49-21. The Raptors, who easily handled the Lakers on Thursday night, are coming off a 110-107 loss on the road to the Detroit Pistons on Sunday.

  • Pistons know they will need to be better against Raptors

Blake Griffin fears the Detroit Pistons will get blown out for the third time in four games on Sunday if they don't dramatically improve their level of play. The All-Star power forward was not even pleased with his team's performance in a 111-97 victory against the injury-depleted Los Angeles Lakers on Friday, which snapped a two-game losing streak. The Lakers played without LeBron James and several injured regulars, but the Pistons had trouble putting the game away.
