    Steven Adams is an excellent player for the Oklahoma City Thunder. Writing in his new autobiography, Adams attempted to detail why he thought opposing NBA players had such an issue with him on the floor. Basically, Adams said that it started out as a simple issue of a rookie big man learning not to foul so much, and evolved from there.

    Oklahoma City Thunder big man Steven Adams was apparently cruising Instagram Sunday when he came across this post asking who was the most valuable among thunder players Russell Westbrook, Paul George, Carmelo Anthony and Adams. Adams appeared to have an opinion on the matter. Adams seemed to realize his mistake overnight and reached out to Thunder public relations staff early Monday to explain himself, ESPN reports.

  • Spurs beat Thunder, move into 4th-place tie in West

    LaMarcus Aldridge scored 25 points and grabbed 11 rebounds, and San Antonio made the plays it needed down the stretch as the Spurs outlasted the Oklahoma City Thunder 103-99 on Thursday at the AT&T Center in a game with huge playoff implications for both teams. The win granted San Antonio (44-32) a 2-2 split in the season series with Oklahoma City (44-32) and pushed the Spurs into a tie for fourth place with the Thunder in the Western Conference standings with six games to play. A put-back dunk by Steven Adams capped a late 6-1 run and allowed Oklahoma City to get to within 96-93 with 1:46 remaining.

    It all started with about a minute left in the game when Serge Ibaka tackled Steven Adams. As Paul George finished the second of two free throws, Ibaka and Adams began to battle for the possible rebound. Adams gave Ibaka the slip off the lane line, and as a recovery move Ibaka tackled his former teammate on the baseline.
