    While not many people were noticing, Doc Rivers did arguably his best coaching job since coming to Los Angeles this season. The offense too often felt like Lou Williams vs. The World, yet the Clippers finished above .500 (42-40) and pushed for a playoff spot until the final days of the regular season. The Clippers noticed what a good job he did, and how well he handled things after losing his GM powers to Lawrence Frank.

    Just when it appeared the Los Angeles Clippers were doomed, they rallied for a dramatic and much-needed win for their playoff hopes. Tobias Harris scored 31 points, Lou Williams added 22 and the Clippers beat the San Antonio Spurs 113-110 on Tuesday night. Harris made 11 of 19 shots and Williams scored 15 points in the final quarter to spark the Clippers' comeback.

    Jusuf Nurkic and Damian Lillard led the way as the Portland Trail Blazers polished off the Los Angeles Clippers 105-96 Friday night at Moda Center. Nurkic scored 21 points and grabbed 12 rebounds and Damian Lillard had 17 points, 11 assists and seven boards for the Trail Blazers, who won for the 16th time in 19 games. Lou Williams finished with 23 points and Jordan had 10 points and 14 rebounds for the Clippers, who snapped a three-game win streak.

    The Los Angeles Clippers made quick work of the Phoenix Suns, very quick. Five minutes into the game, the Clippers led 19-0 and the staggering Suns never recovered. Super-sub Lou Williams had 35 points in 33 minutes - including a 23-point second quarter - and the Clippers and handed the Suns their eighth loss in a row, 128-117 on Friday night.

    Minnesota Timberwolves star Jimmy Butler sat out the NBA All-Star Game on Sunday night due to illness and to rest up for the final stretch of games. Mike D'Antoni, who coached Team Stephen, said that Butler did not practice with the team on Saturday and Butler reported that he was tired. Los Angeles Clippers guard Lou Wiliams, who may be considered an All-Star Game snub, called out Butler for not playing any minutes.
