Warriors, Kings tip off season's second half
Two teams that could find themselves as playoff opponents for the first time later this spring meet for the final time in the regular season Thursday night when the Sacramento Kings take on the Golden State Warriors in Oakland, Calif. The Warriors (41-16) finished the NBA's "first half" with the best record in the Western Conference and, if the playoffs had started today, would have been paired with the eighth-seeded Los Angeles Clippers (32-27) in the first round. The Kings (30-27) entered the break tied with the Clippers in the loss column, but one game behind due to two fewer wins.

Davis says Celtics among NBA clubs he'd gladly join
New Orleans Pelicans star Anthony Davis said Saturday he would welcome a trade to the Boston Celtics or any other NBA team, stretching his desired list of prospective new clubs. The 25-year-old forward repeated his desire to play in Sunday's 68th NBA All-Star Game but said he would have to see how his bruised left shoulder felt ahead of tip-off in Charlotte, North Carolina. Davis has been the talk of the NBA the past couple of weeks since he confirmed what his agent revealed, that the star big man wants a trade from the Pelicans and won't sign a new long-term deal with New Orleans.

Kyrie Irving: 'Some truth' in Marcus Morris' criticism of Celtics teammates
Kyrie Irving was no different than the rest of the Celtics who reacted to Marcus Morris' harsh criticism of the team following a home loss to the Los Angeles Clippers a week ago. "There was some truth into [Morris' comments]," said Irving, who has missed the past two games - both Celtics wins - following Morris' comments and spoke on the matter for the first time Saturday.
