Wade was a member of the Chicago Bulls for 60 games in 2016-17 despite having signed a massive contract with the team in July of 2016. Wade is now back where he belongs in Miami, and he's been on a bit of a farewell tour across the NBA.

    LeBron James won the final instalment of his long rivalry with Dwyane Wade on Monday, scoring 28 points as the Los Angeles Lakers held on for a 108-105 victory over the Miami Heat at the Staples Center. James and Wade, who arrived in the NBA together as part of a star-studded draft in 2003, have formed one of basketball's most famous rivalries and closest friendships over the course of their careers. Former team-mates at the Miami Heat, where the duo won back-to-back NBA championships in 2012 and 2013, the two faced each other for the last time on Monday with Wade retiring after the 2018 season.

  • Richardson has 12-point in 4th, leads Heat past Bulls

    Erik Spoelstra gave the ball to Josh Richardson. Richardson scored 12 of his 27 points in the fourth quarter and Hassan Whiteside had 18 points and 10 rebounds to help the Miami Heat beat the Chicago Bulls 103-96 on Friday night. Spoelstra decided to go without Dwyane Wade in the closing minutes.

    When Dwyane Wade spent two weeks away from the team on paternity leave he saw from afar the various problems the Miami Heat are experiencing at consistently getting offense. On Friday, Wade will make his penultimate appearance in his native Chicago and the Heat hope to get their offense going when they visit the Bulls. Wade is retiring after this season and so far a theme of his 14th full season with Miami is offensive issues during a season where high scores are the norm throughout the league.
