  • Retired McGrady back with Magic in advisory role

    Seven-time NBA All-Star Tracy McGrady, inducted earlier this year into the Basketball Hall of Fame, was named on Friday as a special assistant to Orlando Magic chief executive Alex Martins. McGrady, who played for the Magic from 2000 to 2004, will be available to players and coaches as well as assisting and advising executives in several areas, including promotions. "We're extremely pleased to bring him back home," Martins said.
