  • Orlando Magic mascot launched pies in people's faces as part of schedule reveal

I don’t understand any of what I am about to show you, but I feel compelled to share it. Anyway, here is the Orlando Magic mascot, “Stuff,” putting a pie in 29 people’s faces representing the 29 teams his team will face. This is a way to reveal a schedule all right. I want to give a special shoutout to a few people involved. First of all, Stuff, way to go giving a double pie-in-the-face to your in-state rival, Miami Heat. She didn’t see that coming. Also shouts to the girl in the Bucks shirt for catching the leftover pie. And to the Knicks shirt guy for checking his tweets before getting hit by a pie. Oh, and the guy in the Rockets shirt who tried to wear a hat for all this. That’s dedication.

  • Watch the Orlando Magic mascot pie a bunch of people in the face

Why was Stuff the Magic Dragon throwing pies at these peoples faces? To reveal the new NBA 2017-18 schedule, of course. Stuff, the mascot of the Orlando Magic, could be seen in a video published to Orlando’s social media on Tuesday hitting 29 people wearing the t-shirts of the other NBA teams in the face.

  • Watch the top 60 clutch shots from last NBA season

It’s that time of the year when there is no basketball, so we fill the time with idle Kyrie Irving speculation and video highlights of last season. Along those lines, above you can out the top 60 clutch shots from last season, as determined by the folks at NBA.com. The great thing about the clutch shot list is the ball is in the hands of stars at the ends of games, so there is plenty of Russell Westbrook, John Wall, LeBron James, Devin Booker, Kevin Durant and more. Personally, I would have switch No. 1 and No. 2 on the list, but it’s all fun to relive.

Take one more NBA veteran off the free agent board. According to report from ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, Arron Afflalo has signed a one-year deal with the Orlando Magic. Afflalo’s deal with the Magic is $2.1 million according to Wojnarowski, which is the veteran’s minimum for a player with his experience. Afflalo played for the Sacramento Kings last season averaging 8.4 points, 2 rebounds, and 1.3 assists per game.

  • LIVE Ultra Lounge hosting a 'going away party' for Jonathon Simmons

Caption Close Jonathon Simmons is on his way out of San Antonio and to the Orlando Magic after two years with the Spurs, but not before the city says goodbye in a "big" way at LIVE Ultra Lounge on Friday.  Promoters for the club at 19314 U.S. Highway 281 have been sharing fliers throughout the week announcing the party  And though the name emblazoned across the Instagram photos is misspelled as "Jonathan," we're sure the former Spur is who the party is being thrown for.  "Hate to say goodbye," the club's "CEO" said on Instagram. "But we're going to do it big for him."  Last week Simmons signed on with the Orlando Magic in a three-year, $20 million deal.  He called the decision "one of the toughest"
