  • Report: Suns Package for Kyrie Irving Includes Eric Bledsoe, Dragan Bender and First-Round Pick

It doesn’t seem as though Kyrie Irving is all that close to leaving the Cavs but at least now it seems we know what the Suns are prepared to give up to bring him to the desert. Eric Bledsoe’s name has been brought up in Irving rumors ever since the Cavs star asked out of Cleveland. The Suns have also been consistent in their refusal to include 2017 first-round pick Josh Jackson or budding star Devin Booker in any deal.

  • Report: Cavaliers would pull trigger if Suns put Eric Bledsoe, Josh Jackson in Kyrie Irving trade

As they should, the Cleveland Cavaliers are starting negotiations on Kyrie Irving trades asking a lot: An elite young player on a rookie contract, veteran starter who can help them now, and a first-round pick. So far, no team has offered that kind of package up. One team that easily could: The Phoenix Suns. They have picks, and they have quality veteran point guard Eric Bledsoe. However, they have told both of their young stars — Josh Jackson and Devin Booker — they will not be traded. If Jackson were in the deal, it would be done by now, according to Joe Varden of the Cleveland Plain Dealer. Cleveland also wants Josh Jackson, a 6-8 rookie drafted fourth overall by the Suns in June. Phoenix reportedly

  • Report: Suns tell Devin Booker they won’t trade him

The Suns reportedly proposed a trade for Kyrie Irving. What did Phoenix offer the Cavaliers? Eric Bledsoe makes sense in a deal as a replacement point guard, but he’s worse and older than Irving, so the Suns would have to add more. They reportedly told Josh Jackson they wouldn’t trade him – and apparently made the same pledge to Devin Booker. Joe Vardon of Cleveland.com: a source said the Suns told Devin Booker he would not be traded Booker is one of the NBA’s most overrated players – a young, high-volume scorer with only moderate efficiency and undeveloped periphery skills. He’s also just 20 and on a low-paying rookie-scale contract for two more years. He’s incredibly valuable, and it’s unsurprising

T.J. Warren and Devin Booker each scored 21 points to help the Phoenix Suns beat the Dallas Mavericks 124-111 on Sunday in their home finale. • Suns guard Booker scores 70 points to join elite club

(Reuters) - Phoenix Suns guard Devin Booker became the unlikeliest member of an elite scoring club when he erupted for 70 points on Friday against the Boston Celtics. Just the sixth NBA player to ever reach the scoring mark, Booker joins hallowed players Wilt Chamberlain, Kobe Bryant, David Thompson, Elgin Baylor and David Robinson. It was an astounding performance from Booker, a 20-year-old second-year player, and one few could predict coming.
