  • Thunder look for better finish vs. Mitchell, Jazz

Donovan Mitchell is doing everything he can to bolster his case to win Rookie of the Year honors during the first round of the NBA playoffs. Mitchell took over the fourth quarter to help the Utah Jazz claim a 102-95 win over the Oklahoma City Thunder on Wednesday and even the series at 1-1. It helped the Jazz erase a double-digit third-quarter deficit and gave them room to pull away late.

  • Rubio's triple-double leads Jazz past Thunder 115-102

Ricky Rubio waited seven years for a night like this. Rubio, who never reached the playoffs in his first six seasons with Minnesota, had 26 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists for Utah's first playoff triple-double in 17 years to help lead the Jazz to a 115-102 win over the Oklahoma City Thunder on Saturday night. "We were down by 10 ... and I just changed my mentality, trying to be more aggressive and make some shots," Rubio said. "We made a run and it helps a lot when you're making shots and it felt great." At one point, Rubio walked toward half-court with his arms outstretched, drinking in the deafening roar and subsequent "RU-BI-O! RU-BI-O!" chants from the fans. Donovan Mitchell added 22

  • Advantage Utah? Jazz’s Derrick Favors “100 percent” back

When Derrick Favors can find ways to impose his will, good things happen for the Utah Jazz. Favors has been quietly, albeit effectively, getting it done against the Oklahoma City Thunder, playing in the shadows of Utah rookie of the year candidate Donovan Mitchell and Jazz center Rudy Gobert. The Jazz have returned to Utah with the series tied 1-1, thanks in no small part to Favors.
