Report: Knicks want to talk to ex-coach Woodson
The New York Knicks have focused their coaching search on five leading candidates -- and the list does not include Villanova's Jay Wright -- according to a report from ESPN. The Knicks' top four choices include ex-NBA coaches David Fizdale, Mark Jackson and David Blatt, along with longtime player Jerry Stackhouse. The team received permission to speak with a fifth candidate, former Knicks coach and current Los Angeles Clippers assistant Mike Woodson, ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski reported.

Clippers look to heal with decisions looming about future
The Clippers are finally out of their misery, a long season marred by significant injuries coming to an end just short of the playoffs. Coach Doc Rivers started an NBA-leading 37 different lineups because of the injuries. The Clippers were forced to dip into the G League for starters, most notably C.J. Williams (who was signed to a multi-year deal) and Tyrone Wallace.

Philadelphia secures No. 3 seed with blowout over Bucks
Dario Saric scored 24 points, Justin Anderson added 25 points off the bench, and the Philadelphia 76ers roared into the postseason with a 130-95 win over the Milwaukee Bucks on Wednesday at Wells Fargo Center to secure the third overall seed in the Eastern Conference. The Sixers closed the regular season on a 16-game winning streak, the longest ever for a team entering the postseason, winning half of those games with All-Star center Joel Embiid sidelined by a facial fracture. Philadelphia has served notice as a dark horse candidate for the playoffs, with its dismantling of Milwaukee the latest example of its potential.

Westbrook triple as Thunder seal playoff spot, Spurs through
Paul George scored 27 points and Russell Westbrook bagged a triple-double as the Oklahoma City Thunder overcame an 18-point deficit to clinch a playoff berth with a 115-93 victory over the Miami Heat on Monday. Westbrook finished with 23 points, 18 rebounds and 13 assists in a dynamic performance which assured the Thunder of a postseason berth and kept them in the hunt for home-court advantage in the first round. The Thunder improved to 47-34 with the win, leaving them level on wins in the Western Conference standings with fourth-placed Utah, who have played a game fewer.

Pelicans pound Clippers, seal playoff bid
Anthony Davis scored 28 points, and the New Orleans Pelicans clinched a playoff berth with a 113-100 victory over the host Los Angeles Clippers on Monday night at Staples Center. The Pelicans (47-34) won their fourth consecutive game as they completed a sweep of a three-game road trip to reach the playoffs for the first time in three years. The Spurs and Oklahoma City have the same record as New Orleans, which holds the head-to-head tiebreaker against the Thunder and leads the season series with San Antonio 2-1.
