    Nikola Jokic grabbed the fastest triple double in NBA history on Thursday as the Denver Nuggets boosted their play-off hopes with a 134-123 victory over the Milwaukee Bucks. Rising Serbian star Jokic bagged 16 points, 10 rebounds and 11 assists in 14 minutes and 33 seconds to give Denver the perfect send-off as the team heads into the All-Star break. Jokic, who eventually finished with 30 points, 15 rebounds and 17 assists, smashed the previous record of 17 minutes set by Jim Tucker in 1955, a mark that had stood unchallenged for 63 years.

  • Jokic's triple-double leads Nuggets over Spurs

    Nikola Jokic amassed 23 points, 13 rebounds and 11 assists to record his fourth triple-double of the season while leading the host Denver Nuggets to a 117-109 win over the slumping San Antonio Spurs on Tuesday. San Antonio owned a 100-99 lead after Joffrey Lauvergne's hook shot with 8:36 to play, but the closing eight minutes at the Pepsi Center belonged to Nuggets.   • Injury-riddled Spurs face retooled, optimistic Nuggets

    Losing Paul Millsap for more than three months was tough on the Denver Nuggets. Mason Plumlee then went down, and Denver's frontcourt has been compromised for a couple of weeks. Chandler scored 26 points, Will Barton had 25 point and the Denver Nuggets used an extended second-half run to take control in a 123-113 victory over the Phoenix Suns. Nikola Jokic had 21 points, nine rebounds and seven assists, and Gary Harris had 13 points for the Nuggets, who have won four of five.

  • Nuggets, Suns add guards at trade deadline

    Both Denver and Phoenix added point guards at the trade deadline Thursday, but where the moves differ is in expectations. The Nuggets made a relatively minor guard tweak, adding veteran Devin Harris in a move designed to solidify their second unit and facilitate their return to the playoffs for the first time in five seasons.
